C. Roy Hunter, M.S., C.Ht., is an expert in the field of hypnosis. He was specially selected to carry on the work of a "grand master of hypnotherapy," the late beloved and esteemed Charles Tebbetts.
Charles Tebbetts was a master teacher and contributor to the art/science of hypnosis and hypnotherapy; and his protegé, Roy Hunter, is remarkably skilled to carry on his work, as evidenced in this book.
Today hypnosis is no longer shrouded in shadows and mystery. Instead, it has been recognized and embraced as a remarkable means of controlling man's greatest gift: the human mind. The human mind has the capabilities of producing a myriad of thoughts, and when under perfect control, it can lead to joyful living and heights of genius.
Through this book, you will not only learn about hypnotherapy via the Charles Tebbetts methodology; you will also learn how to avoid being mastered by your mind, and instead will learn how to become a Mastermind!
The Art of Hypnotherapy is written for serious students of Hypnotherapy who want to know more about hypnotherapy techniques and how they can lead to a fulfilling career. This book takes students through the same course of instruction taught for two quarters at the legendary Charles Tebbetts Hypnotism Training Course at Tacoma Community College. Roy Hunter has invested several thousand hours in organizing his late mentor's teachings into a logical learning sequence suitable for any Hypnotism Course.
The Art of Hypnotherapy shows students how all hypnotic techniques revolve around four main therapeutic objectives so they can help their clients more effectively through the benefits of diversified client-centered hypnosis.
Features include:
- Techniques are arranged from simple to complex, so those using hypnosis in a limited way easily learn the applicable techniques.
- A chapter on common application of hypnotherapy includes new sections on: anger, impotence, stuttering, and tinnitus.
- Chapters on anchoring and triggers have added how to help a client establish a safe place, and why it is important.
