It's surprising how few hypnotists understand how to shift their metaphors and mannerisms to best help a client. Our clients rarely come to see us first, and therefore we must learn how to balance our professionalism with the ability to set ourselves apart from other modalities. Traditional thinking gets traditional results, and that simply isn't good enough for 'tough clients'.
