Associate Membership
Certified Membership

  • Associate (base-level) Membership is available to anyone who has an interest in complementary healthcare.
    • Initial membership fee for Associate level membership is just $133USD.
    • Annual renewal (not automatic) of membership is currently $118USD.
    • All applicants must remit a complete copy of a government-issued legal photo ID.
  • Certified (top-tier level) Membership is available to practitioners with 220 hours or more of hypnosis training, with a minimum of 150 being classroom/interactive training. Completion of our online certification assessment is required upon validation of training.
    • Graduated from an approved IMDHA-affiliated trainer/facility:
      • Initial membership fee for certification is $173USD.
      • Annual renewal (not automatic) of membership is currently $123USD.
      • All applicants must remit a complete copy of a government-issued legal photo ID AND documentation to validate academic achievement/training.
    • Non-affiliated trainer/facility:
      • If you graduated from/trained with someone that is not affiliated with or approved by the IMDHA, initial membership fee for certification is $273USD, and includes the following:
        • One-time administration fee ($50USD) to research and review educational qualifications.
        • One-time fee ($50USD) to administer and process *Certification Assessment.
      • Annual renewal (not automatic) of membership is currently $123USD.
      • All applicants must remit a complete copy of a government-issued legal photo ID, AND documentation to validate academic achievement/training.
        • *Certification Assessment:
          • The Certification Assessment is not an academic probe; but one that determines sufficient knowledge to be included in this organization, and to ensure one’s ‘fitness for inclusion’.
          • The assessment is conducted online and consists of 25 multiple-choice questions.
          • You will have 25 minutes to complete it, and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to qualify for certification.
          • Once application has been submitted, and all required documentation has been received by the business office staff, instructions for how to complete the certification assessment will be sent via email.
  • If your application is denied, the application fee will be refunded minus the administrative review fee ($50USD).
